The primary work of the Development Committee is fundraising and outreach to individuals, corporations, schools, and community organizations. And, always striving to support our mission: To provide low-income Massachusetts women the academic opportunity to improve their quality of life, become more self-reliant and become more employable.

Silent Auction

As part of our fundraising efforts, LCWF holds an annual Silent Auction on the first Sunday in December. This year the silent auction was held at The Neighborhood Club in Quincy on December 2. It was a very successful event where people came not only to support Lost Coin Women’s Fund but to also do a little Christmas shopping. It was a great day, enjoyed by all.

We have already started planning the Silent Auction for next year, to be held on December 1, 2019. Pencil it in your calendar! You won’t be disappointed!

If you would like to be sure you get an invitation to the Silent Auction, please email us at to be put on the mailing list.

To help keep our supporters informed about our fundraising as well as the awards that we grant, we send out an annual newsletter. This newsletter includes information about our accomplishments over the year as well as the annual Founders’ Scholarship winner.
